Regarding tickets

Q. Does a child need to reserve a seat?

A. You do not need to make a reservation for your children under 6 years old as far as your children do not occupy a seat.
However, we highly suggest preparing a seat for your children because it is safer and more comfortable than sitting on parent’s laps.

Q. How much is the fare for children?

A. Ages: 0-6 ------ No charge if no seat is needed.
(If your child occupies a seat, the fare will be the same as the fare for ages 6-12)
Ages: 6-12 ------ Half the price of adults.
Ages: 13 and older ------ Same as adults.

Q. Can I purchase a bus ticket at Shinjuku Expressway bus terminal without making a reservation?

A. Yes, you can. Bus tickets for same-day departure are sold on the first floor. You can purchase bus tickets for a future date (the next day or later) on the second floor. Please note that you may not be able to purchase your desired bus ticket if the bus in question is fully booked.

Q. Can I book a bus ticket to Kawaguchiko Station?

A. When booking through the online reservation system, please select “FujiQ Highland”. All three destinations (FujiQ Highland, Kawaguchiko and Fujisan Station) are included in this route. The fare is the same, regardless of the destination at which you disembark.
* Please note that “Fuji 5th Station” is NOT the same as “Fujisan Station”.
If you wish, you can specifically book a route to Kawaguchiko or Fujisan sta. by telephone.

Q. How can I pay?

A. You can pay for the bus ticket at the ticket machine in Shinjuku.

Q. How can I cancel a reservation?

A. You can cancel your reservation through online cancelation form below.

Q. From when can I make a reservation?

A. You can book a ticket one month before.

Q. The online reservation page does not display the time I would like to book.

A. Unfortunately, the bus is fully booked.
The departure time being displayed in the select box is the only bus available.

Q. An error message, “Reservation could not be completed”, is displayed and I cannot complete online reservation.

A. 1. Not enough seats are available.
2. Unnecessary space may be entered in-between characters.

Regarding the bus services

Q. Is there a toilet on the bus?

A. Yes, we have toilet facilities on all buses except for the vehicles which have been added during the busy seasons.
Please note that you may not be able to purchase your desired bus ticket if the bus service is a fully booked.
You can purchase a tomorrow’s or later bus ticket at the second floor.

Q. Do you have any bus services that go to Mt Fuji from Narita airport?

A. We are very sorry, but our buses do not go directly from Narita Airport *1 to Mt Fuji 5th Station .We recommend that you first go to Shinjuku by Limousine bus *2, Narita Express*3, or Keisei Sky Liner*4. Then you can change to our highway bus in Shinjuku*5 and travel to Mt Fuji. 5th Station*6.
(The Mt Fuji 5th line starts running from late April. Reservations usually start from mid-March. )

Regarding routes

Q. How do I get to Mt. Fuji 5th Station?

A. There are direct bus services from Shinjuku to Mt. Fuji 5th Station during peak season (May through October). You can book online.
*Direct bus services are available everyday in July and August, and Saturdays and Sundays only in May, June, September, and October. In other months, pleases take a bus service to Kawaguchiko Station and connect with another bus service to reach Mt. Fuji 5th Station.
(Caution: Please note that you might NOT be able to go to Mt. Fuji 5th Station during the winter season due to a snow-related closure of the road.)

Q. How do I go to see the Shibazakura Festival?

A. Thank you for your enquiry. You can not reserve a direct bus from Shinjuku to Fuji Shibazakura Festival site. However, you can to another bus at Kawaguchiko Station. If you would like to book one, please call the following reservation center.
