• 4 buses per day will service the Mt. Fuji 5th Station via Lake Kawaguchi from May 7 to June 30..
• 13 buses per day will directly service the Mt. Fuji 5th Station from July 1 through August 31.
• 13 buses per day will service the Mt. Fuji 5th Station via Lake Kawaguchi from September 1 to September 10.

There are four trails that lead to the summit, each with its own trail head as the starting point.

Fuji-Subaru Line 5th Station Yamanashi Prefecture side

Yoshida Trail starts at an altitude of 2,305m

Time: Ascent 6 hours / Descent 4 hours

Subashiri Trail 5th Station Shizuoka Prefecture side

Subashiri Trail starts at an altitude of 1,970m

Time: Ascent 6 hours / Descent 3 hours

Gotemba Trail New 5th Station Shizuoka Prefecture side

Gotemba Trail starts at an altitude of 1,440m

We recommend the Yoshida Trail, starting from the Fuji-Subaru Line 5th Station.

Reason 2

The elevation of the starting point is already 2,305m. Only 1,471m of climbing to the summit.

There are many huts on this trail, which is reassuring if the need for shelter arises.
