Minobu

Have you heard of Minobu?
Minobu is one of the most well known one day trips from Tokyo, similar to Mt.Fuji!
More info.

Visit "Saruhashi", one of Japan's three most bizarre bridges, before returning to Tokyo!

Saruhashi

Unusual Structure of Saruhashi
The Saruhashi Bridge is 31 meters in length and 3.3 meters in width. While it is not particularly too large, the valley itself is only 31 meters deep, so vertical bridge piers could not be built to stabilize it. Instead, the bridge is supported by four layers of beams that protrude from the side of the mountain. When the bridge was first built remains unclear to this day.

Bridge and Valley
In 1932, Saruhashi was officially designated as a scenic spot due to the breathtaking landscape between the bridge and its surrounding nature. The iconic woodblock print Koyo Saruibashi by Hiroshige Ando, showcasing the bridge in its autumn splendor, is also widely celebrated for its artistic portrayal of this picturesque area.
